When Bharat Takhtani Exposed Estranged Wife Esha Deol’s Possessive Nature; Actress Jokingly Told Him, ‘Aankh Nikal Doongi’

Bollywood actress Esha Deol and her businessman hubby Bharat Takhtani left their admirers in shock when they officially confirmed the news of their separation. This led to a lot of their previous interviews resurfacing online. Having tied the knot in 2012, the childhood sweethearts amicably decided to separate ways. Now another one of their interviews has resurfaced where Bharat opened up about Esha’s overly possessive behaviour.
In an interview with Filmfare, which was conducted shortly after their wedding, the businessman revealed that his then-wife was extremely possessive of him. Starting that she is more possessive than him, he revealed that even as a mother she would be possessive of their kids, so much so that she wouldn’t even allow the nurse to hold their baby. Quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, he added, “Pakad kar rakhti hai mujhe. I’ve got to be guarded even when I am with my old friends. She’d be a possessive mother as well! Irked by her then-hubby’s answer during the interview, the 42-year-old actress clapped back and jokingly stated, “Aankh nikal doongi.” Ever since confirming their separation, many of Esha’s revelations from her book are going viral where she had expressed how her husband would get cranky when she couldn’t give him much attention after the birth of their daughters Radhya and Miraya. In a statement issued to the Delhi Times, Esha Deol stated, “We have mutually and amicably decided to part ways. Through this shift in our lives, the best interests and welfare of our two children is and will be of utmost importance to us. We’d appreciate our privacy is respected.”
For the unversed, Esha Deol is Dharmendra’s daughter from his second marriage with Hema Malini. She also has a younger sister Ahana Deol Vohra. Before getting hitched to his Sholay co-star, the veteran actor was married to Prakash Kaur. He has 4 kids from his first marriage - Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Vijeeta Deol, and Ajeeta Deol
