Vijay Deverakonda's Team Reacts To Rumours Of '50 Assistants & Six Caravans' On Ranabaali Sets: 'Completely Baseless'

Rumours surrounding Vijay Deverakonda and his upcoming film Ranabaali have been firmly denied by the actor's team after a viral social media post claimed that he demanded multiple caravans and a large entourage on set. The team has dismissed the allegations as "completely baseless" and urged fans not to fall for misinformation.

The controversy began after a screenshot resembling a news report started circulating online. The post alleged that Vijay had asked for five to six caravans and 40–50 assistants during the shooting of Ranabaali, reportedly creating difficulties for producers. The screenshot also claimed that the issue had been taken to the producers' council.

However, Vijay's team quickly issued a clarification, calling the viral claims fake. In an official statement, they said, "Beware of a targeted misinformation campaign by certain individuals on X (formerly Twitter) aimed at maligning Vijay Deverakonda. Fake screenshots, falsely made to look like they originated from news portals and apps, are being circulated on social media claiming that Vijay Deverakonda has demanded 5–6 caravans for Ranabaali. These claims are completely baseless. Please do not believe or spread such rumours."

The publication whose branding was allegedly used in the fabricated screenshot also distanced itself from the viral post. It clarified that it had never published such a report and warned that legal action could be taken against those responsible for creating and circulating the fake content.

Meanwhile, Ranabaali continues to generate buzz ahead of its release. Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, the period drama stars Vijay Deverakonda in the lead alongside Rashmika Mandanna. The film marks the popular on-screen pair's reunion and is expected to hit theatres in September 2026.
