Virat Kohli Calls Ae Dil Hai Mushkil His Favourite Anushka Film; Reveals He Often Watches 'Cancer Sequence'
Of all the films Anushka Sharma has starred in, Virat Kohli said that Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is hands down his favorite. He also revealed his favorite scene from the film is the sequence of when she is diagnosed with cancer and when Ranbir Kapoor comes back
Anushka Sharma, who made her Bollywood debut in 2008 film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi along with Shah Rukh Khan, has come a long way in her film career. She has given some unforgettable performances in films such as PK, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Pari and many more. The actress was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero along with Katrina Kaif and Shah Rukh Khan, however, the film failed to perform well at the box-office. This was back in 2018 and since then, she seems to have taken a break from movies. Now, Anushka’s husband Virat Kohli has revealed his favorite Anushka Sharma movie, and it is Karan Johar’s film about unrequited love, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
Anushka Sharma’s hubby Virat Kohli, in an interview with India Today, revealed that he loved the character of Anushka Sharma, Alizeh, in the film and he even watches videos of the film on YouTube. He said the film is hands down his favorite film starring Anushka, and that character for him is the most favorite ever. He said, “I mean I still tell her often even now. Sometimes I sit down and open YouTube and watch that sequence of when she has cancer and the whole thing where Ranbir (Kapoor) comes back.... that song is etched in my heart. It is never gonna be going anywhere.” The song Virat mentioned, is the sad version of Channa Mereya that plays at the end of the movie. In other news, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma expressed their anger over the Hyderabad rape case and took to their social media to seek justice for the victim. Virat Kohli denounced the shameful act and said that it is high time we take charge and put an end to such inhumane tragedies. Anushka Sharma also vented out her anger and calling it absolutely horrific, she asked for justice to be served swiftly.
