Self-proclaimed film critic Kamaal R Khan aka KRK never fails to make headlines owing to his controversial tweets. In his latest tweet, he took a nasty dig at Rana Daggubati and Surveen Chawla’s new web show ‘Rana Naidu’, which is among the trending shows on Netflix. While the show has received good reviews from critics and audiences alike, KRK slammed it calling it almost ‘a porn.’ He even demanded a ban on such OTT platforms saying the show is filled with abuses.
Taking to his Twitter handle, KRK tweeted, “A web series #RanaNaidu released on @NetflixIndia which is having all the abuses of this world. It’s almost a porn. I can’t understand, what is government doing? What @ianuragthakur ji wants to teach to young generation. Such OTT platforms should be banned in India.” Soon after he shared this post, several netizens started trolling KRK. While one user said, “You are also banned from everywhere,” another said, “First of all if anything vulgar and useless exists, it's YOU. The cast of ‘Rana Naidu’ is yet to react to Kamaal’s criticism. Meanwhile, the action crime drama was directed by Karan Anshuman and Suparn Verma. It is the official adaptation of the 2013 crime TV series, Ray Donovan and also stars Venkatesh Daggubati, Suchitra Pillai, and Gaurav Chopra. The series was released on 10 March 2023.
The show revolves around Rana Naidu, who makes a living by fixing the messes left behind by his famous clients.
