Kim Kardashian’s ex Kanye West has once again landed himself in controversy as new reports suggest that he hosted naked women serving sushi off their bare bodies during his 46th birthday bash which was held over the weekend. 

This is where it gets bizarre! The party was also attended by North West, Kanye West’s 9-year-old daughter he shares with Kim Kardashian. According to the reports, North was also seen holding hands with Bianca Censori, West’s rumoured present wife.

The Twitter handles Pop Crave posted inside pictures from West’s birthday bash. As per the images, a naked woman lying on a table with sushi placed all over her body. The Twitter handle claimed that the practice is known as ‘Nyotaimori.’

“Kanye West included the Japanese practice Nyotaimori at his 46th birthday party last night, which involves serving sashimi or sushi off the naked body of a woman,” the tweet reads. The photos instantly went viral on social media and these pictures have been slammed by several people. 


Nyotaimori literally means "female body presentation", and it is often referred to as "body sushi". It is reported to be a Japanese practice which features a serving of sashimi or sushi from the naked body of a woman.

While performing traditional Nyotaimori, the model is expected to lie still and not interact with guests. She is only allowed to speak with guests after the event was over and the food was removed from her body. For years, the practice has received intense backlash and criticism owing to its humiliating and sexist nature. 

It has been slammed for objectifying women, and being cruel and unfair to them. It is banned in several countries.

This wasn’t the first time Kanye West was slammed for his bizarre and seemingly sexist actions. 

Previously, West faced backlash for his antisemitic remarks and has also been accused of being sexist. Back in 2015, he was slammed for rapping on The Life of Pablo's ‘Famous,’ which included the lyrics, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bi*** famous." 

The music video featured Taylor Swift’s lookalike, naked and lying in bed with him. Swift later compared the song and video to "revenge porn."
