WHO Chief Congratulates BTS Members For Getting Appointed As South Korea's Special Presidential Envoy: 'A Well-Deserved Title For A Group Who Use Music To Bring Hope'
BTS' popularity knows no bounds! The band members Jimin, Jungkook, RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jin and Taehyung are inspiring millions with their music and how! The Bangtan Boys are always making huge buzz for multiple reasons - be it breaking records or stealing hearts with their selcas and more. In case you don't know yet, World Health Organisation (WHO) chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus recently congratulated BTS members on their appointment as South Korea's Special Presidential Envoy for Future Generations and Culture.

Taking to Twitter, WHO chief wrote, "Dear @BTS_twt Namjoon, Jin, Yoongi, Hobi, Jimin, Tae & Jungkook, congratulations on your appointment as #SouthKorea's Special Presidential Envoy for Future Generations & Culture! A well-deserved title for a group who use music & lyrics to bring hope & healing to the world."

For the uninitiated, right after the release of BTS' latest track Permission To Dance, WHO chief took to Twitter to thank the members for including sign language in their PTD music video. The song recently debuted at the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
