Former Indian cricketer Zaheer Khan tied the knot with Chak De! India fame Sagarika Ghatge in 2017. The duo has made sure to mesmerize the audience with their chemistry through their social media posts. They are often seen painting the town red with their mushy pictures with each other. Recently, Khan took to Instagram to share a relatable post featuring his wife that left the netizens in splits.
Captioning the picture on his official handle, Zaheer wrote, “Getting ready to watch some Netflix but looks like I will be the only one watching.” In the photo, the 36-year-old actress seems to have fallen asleep on their cozy bed, while her husband looks at her with irritation. Their pet dog Logan too seems to have fallen asleep cuddling next to the actress. Fans couldn’t contain their excitement after taking a look at the post.
Many filled the comments section of the post with laughing emojis. They blessed the couple to always stay together. Some were even curious about the person who clicked the picture and asked the couple who they were. They also went on to console the former cricketer that he can watch Netflix with the photographer.
For the unversed the couple, who tied the knot in 2017, met at a common friend’s house and they struck a chord with each other. During an interaction with a media publication a few years back, she had said, “I always knew he was a good guy. Whenever I met this common friend of ours called Ritik, I would always tell him that Zaheer seems like a good guy. He knew that I never talk about anyone like that, so there was probably something more to this. What I liked about him the most was his humility. Despite achieving so much in life, he is grounded. That is one quality in him that I truly I admire. Sometimes I fly, but he is grounded.”
One the work front, the actress was last seen in ALT Balaji's web series BOSS: Baap of Special Services where she played the role of ACP Sakshi.
