Zayn Malik has often made it to the headlines for his love affairs. The former One Direction member has once again sparked discussions around his affair with ex-Selena Gomez as he followed the singer again on Instagram. Apart from the chatter around their alleged affair, the reunion of the exes has even sparked hopes for collaboration between Malik and Gomez has intensified. 

Pop Base's official Twitter page shared a screenshot of the development, showing the Pillow Talk hitmaker now following 18 people including Gomez. Some even suggested that a potential relationship is likely to emerge between the singers one Malik’s mother also hit the follow button on Gomez’s account. However, fans seem to be sure about the former couple’s possible music together. 


One fan offered a theory, writing, "Imagine if my theory is correct and dj snake will give us a selena gomez x zayn malik collab."

However, the collaboration is likely to be a possibility as no formal announcement has been released yet. Fans still have their hopes up as both artists expressed their desire to create new music soon.


Amid the collaboration rumours, the musician’s past statements about their projects have reemerged and in December 2022, the Lose You To Love Me singer revealed during her appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon that she plans to have some fun with her songs and say goodbye to writing sad-girl songs for now.

She added that people would like it once they hear it, "hopefully," this 2023.
