Video: Bollywood gives a thumbs down to 'Comedy Nights Bachao'

Bollywood is beginning to give
‘Comedy Nights Bachao’ a thumbs down. After Hrithik Roshan and Akshay Kumar
refused to promote ‘Mohenjo Daro’ and ‘Rustom’ on Krushna Abhishek's show,
Jacqueline Fernandez too has decided she and the entire cast of ‘Dhishoom’ will
not feature on the show.
It's a big blow for Kapil Sharma's
arch rival Krushna Abhishek, a consensus seems to be building in Bollywood that
they don't want to promote their movies on the show that revolves around insult
comedy.
Hrithik's was supposed to be the
opening act on ‘Jhalak Dikhla Ja’ Season 9, but when Colors put in a rider that
Hrithik will also have to appear on their show ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’ if he
wanted to promote ‘Mohenjo Daro’ on Jhalak, the actor opted out.
Akshay Kumar too had a bitter
experience on the show last time, when the show's team made some distasteful
comments on their co-star Lisa Hayden during the promotions of ‘Housefull 3’.
Part of the reason why Jackie doesn't want to promote 'Dishoom' on the show.
Jackie who was also part of the 'Housefull 3', was very very upset with the way
Lisa was humiliated and attacked on the show. Certain portions of the show were
edited out, so only the insults were highlighted and not the comedy.
No wonder, Jackie and the boys, Varun
and John, will not be part of the show this time. The awesome threesome have
given it a thumbs down.
