Video: Evelyn Sharma leaves Sunny Deol-Preity Zinta’s Bhaiyyaji Superhitt

Evelyn Sharma has walked out of Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta and Ameesha Patel starrer Bhaiyyaji Superhitt. The Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actress was roped in to play Shreyas Talpade’s love interest in the film but the actress is said to have opted out. Reason – Evelyn could not adjust her dates for the film.

A source close to the actress said that the film is being made over four years. While she had initially allotted dates, the film kept getting delayed. Now, she can’t allot a fresh set of dates for the film due to her other commitments.

Bhaiyyaji Superhitt was announced in November 2011 and its release was scheduled for mid-2012. The first look poster of the film was released in March 2012. However, the film faced several delays and was temporarily put on the backburner. The project was again revived in May 2015 and subsequent production began in June 2016.

Talking about her exit, Evelyn said, “Since the production demands a certain amount of days more than what I expected it to be, I’m unable to allocate those additional days due to prior commitments made to other projects. Hence, I had to willingly opt out of Bhayyaji Superhitt. However, it’s a great project and an amazing team, I would have loved to continue being a part of it had my schedule permitted, I hope to work with them soon time-willing.”
