There is a lot of hype around star kids even more than celebrity parents themselves! Jhanvi
Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Aryan Khan, Shanaya Kapoor and Navya Naveli Nanda are a
few examples of that. However, is there something actually ‘starry’ about them
other than the fact that they are kids of celebrities?
In a couple of
interviews before, Shah Rukh Khan, whose kids, Suhana, Aryan and AbRam who have
a mad fan following, had said, “They don’t travel the way star kids should.
Apart from the fact that they look really stunning, there is nothing about them
which is starry. They don’t have a car abroad, they travel in taxis and trains
and buses and out of choice. And my management goes and helps them also, they
say, “Just tell Papa, we don’t need this.”
He had also added that the family has not made any conscious effort to save for
their kids' future and they will have to learn to stand on their own feet
without any financial help. "We don’t have money saved for a rainy day for
them to live off. There is nothing like that," he added.
In yet another
interview, Akshay Kumar had said something on similar lines where he clearly
mentioned that his kids will have to earn everything they ask for. “Whatever
they get, they have to earn it. I want them to be responsible human beings who
are also full of gratitude for what they have. Kuch khairat mei nahi milta,
whatever they get is achieved by them... they need to understand that luxuries
are a result of achievements and hard work.”
While we thought
that being a star kid had only perks, given the family background they come
from, turns out their life is pretty much “normal” as ours. Watch the video
