WATCH: When Tiger Shroff Felt He Was Spider-Man
Tiger Shroff has come on board to dub for the Hindi version of Spider-Man: Homecoming. The actor shared his excitement with the media at a press conference yesterday.
 
While speaking about his association, Tiger said, “I have been a fan of super hero films, especially of Spider-Man. My dream is half-fulfilled. I want to play Spider-Man and this is one step closer for me. I am glad that Sony Pictures Entertainment approached me for this. I can promise, Spider-Man: Homecoming is a fun, action-filled roller coaster ride and is unlike any other Spider-Man films you may have seen earlier. It is hands down one of the best superhero entertainers this summer. I just can’t wait for the film’s release and I hope audiences like me as Spidey’s voice in Hindi. ”

Tiger also spoke about how he worked his way while dubbing for Spider- Man and said, “I had to portray two characters in the movie, one of Peter Parker and the other of Spider-Man of course. To get into the character I used to wear the Spider-Man mask while dubbing, and while doing action sequences I was moving and shouting like Spider-Man and responding to the hits. I felt like I was Spider-Man, it was a great experience lending my voice for Spider-Man in India.”
 
Vivek Krishnani, Managing Director, Sony Pictures Entertainment India, said, "Tiger is not just a youth icon but has a strong appeal among family audiences, who prefer clean entertainers. Tiger's appeal and popularity extends to the millennials."

Spider-Man: Homecoming is set to release on July 7.
