Sonam Kapoor turns 32 today and the actress is celebrating the day with her boyfriend Anand Ahuja in New Delhi. Anand has planned a special day for his ladylove and his Instagram page is full of the National Award winning actress’ birthday shenanigans.
In an interview with SpotboyE.com, Sonam had revealed the reason for her reticence when it comes to Anand Ahuja.
The Neerja star won the SpotboyE Salaam, Best Actor (Female) and when we sat down for a chat with her, this is what she had to say:
“I do not talk about my personal life because I think there has to be a sanctity and something that needs to be kept away because I signed up for this, I signed up to be publicly commented or judged, stalked, loved or hated,” said Sonam.
The actress who has been dating Anand Ahuja, a fashion entrepreneur, for a year, revealed that she wants to protect her beau from public scrutiny.
“Yeah, I am an actress, loved, hated spoken about. But any person who enters my life has not signed up for it and I have to protect that relationship and I have to protect that person,” revealed Sonam.
We had recently told you that Sonam Kapoor had gone to great lengths to keep the paparazzi away from Anand when he was recently in Mumbai.
On Sunday, Sonam decided to treat Anand to lunch at Bastian in Bandra, which is one of B-Town’s favourite spots.

So, Sonam used an old trick to throw the paparazzi off. Anand made a quick exit alone before the photographers could catch him. And then after ten minutes, Sonam left the place.
