A few weeks back,
Sidharth Malhotra, Manoj Bajpai and Rakul Preet Singh appeared on Bigg Boss 11
to promote their film, Aiyaary.

During the promotion, Sidharth Malhotra crossed his limit of dignity and mocked Bhojpuri language in a rather crass way.
And this has angered actress Neetu Chandra, who hails from Bihar, and is a renowned name in the Bhojpuri film industry.

The episode was aired on Colors as is without omitting Sidharth’s lines.
Here’s what happened:
Salman Khan gave a task to the Aiyaary trio that they have to enact a role for the viewers. While Rakul chose to play Dabangg cop- lady Chulbul Pandey- Manoj Bajpai asked Sidharth to recite Salman’s dialogue in Bhojpuri.

The moment Manoj gave the task to Sidharth, he had an offending expression on his face but that’s not it. After reciting the dialogues, Sidharth said, “Latrine wali feel aayi bolte hue but accha laga...”
Of course, this didn’t go down well with Neetu, who watched the episode and has now blasted Sidharth for it.

While talking to SpotboyE.com Neetu said, “Sid should have conducted himself with dignity. I am appalled and furious. How can he say such a thing in front of distinguished people like Sallu and Manoj and that too on National Television. And Colors aired it! Shame.”
Neetu also spoke about how Bhojpuri is a renowned and respected language, “Premchand and Kabir Das first wrote in Bhojpuri and then translated to Hindi. I am from Bihar and cannot refrain from keeping quiet. Most of the bureaucrats are Bihari and we are proud of it.”
Well, the actress is surely offended with Sidharth’s statement but will Sidharth apologise for it?
