Parineeti still loves Salman, AIB haunts Arjun
Salman Khan, who reportedly  demanded Rs 2.5 crore as a remuneration, is no longer hosting Filmfare Awards 2016. The show will be anchored by Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar and Kapil Sharma in segments. Alia Bhatt will also assist SRK with his anchor act. They were seen rehearsing together.

In the meantime, Parineeti Chopra who arrived just ahead of her fellow YRF talent Bhumi Pednekar, was heard telling a friend that she's gunning for Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Piku- and is even looking forward to Salman's performance. Wow! This when the actor drops you from his most prestigious project. Spirited girl, we must say!

Bajrangi director Kabir Khan arrived with his wife Mini Mathur in tow. Arjun Kapoor was seen alone at the red carpet but looked extremely elated; maybe it has to do with his new list of upcoming films.

Madhur Bhandarkar is among those few sporty filmmakers who attends an award even when he's not winning one. Yes, he too has made it to the NSCI Grounds.

Karan Johar, when asked about Ranveer Singh, said that he finds the Bajirao star like a portable charger full of energy. Must say, he's observed the boy from close quarters.

Arjun Kapoor was heard saying that he's here to support Bajirao Mastani and Piku which he hasn't even watched. Clearly, he's not concerned about his mentor Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan which is in the running too! Kyun Arjun? Hmmm.... He was even heard reminiscing his last visit to NSCI Stadium. Remember the AIB roast? Said Arjun, "I should never come to NSCI. Everyone knows what happened the last time I came here." Memories!

And here we go... Here are the first awards.

Anju Modi and Maxima Basu has won the Award the for the Best Costume Design for Bajirao Mastani. Proud moment for Sanjay Leela Bhansali!

And Meghna Gulzar's Talwar has won it for the Best Sound Design. Bravo Shajith Koyeri!

Bajirao Mastani's Sujeet Sawant, Sriram Iyengar and Saloni Dhantrak also lifted the trophy for the Best Production Design.

Aditi Rao Hydari and Varun Dhawan's paths have once again crossed at the red carpet. A week ago, they had bumped into each other at another award ceremony in a similar manner. Sheer coincidence?

Prateik Babbar, Sophie Choudry, Athiya Shetty arrived almost like a string of bullets at the red carpet.

We'll be back with yet another write-up full of updates.
