Karan Johar's troubles with his magnum opus Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (ADHM) have subsided to some extent. The filmmaker has finally received his censor certificate and we bet he is heaving a sigh of relief

Ranbir-Anushka's Super Hot Smooch Cut By 50%

So, the certificate was NOT granted two days ago as reported in some sections of the media, who also went on to say that the intimate scenes between Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai have been snipped. Dharma Productions managed to get ADHM certified only today.

Let's tell you what actually transpired. The Censor Board raised some concerns and issued a show-cause notice to the production house, who in turn made the necessary changes and brought the film back to the Board's Walkeshwar office as soon as the Working Hours began this morning.

Our top source from the Board informs us that 4 cuts have been imposed. Says the source, "Three cuts are just verbal."

And what's the fourth one, we asked? "The fourth cut is something that has become a favourite with the censors: reduce the duration of meeting of lips."

So, scissors have been applied on Ranbir and Anushka's smooch. Yes, Ranbir locks lips with Anushka in the film- and we bet you didn't know this until we told you now. And it's quite a passionate moment between Ayan (Ranbir) and Alizeh (Anushka).

Reveals the source, "The smooch has been trimmed to exactly half its length. So you can technically say, 50 per cent."

Tsk, tsk. Anyway, certificate toh mila. Aaj kal censor certificate aasani se nahin milta na?
