For her first walk down the red carpet at the 69th Cannes Film Festival, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan chose to wear Lebanese designer Ali Younes. Keeping up with the cape trend, Aishwarya’s gown featured a tulle cape. The rest of the gown showcased intricate embellishments. The gown is dramatic and thanks to the cape, is a perfect mix of structure and fluidity.

Aishwarya styled her look with soft waves and some
heavy-duty eye shadow. I must confess I’m not a big fan of the smoky blue eye.
