Pallavi’s engagement. Ankit’s brother Ankur shared this candid shot with us.

The singer tied the knot with Pallavi Shukla, a
mechanical engineer who has been living in Bangalore since the last 10 years.
“I’ve introduced her and her family to my work and life
in Mumbai where she will live after marriage,” Ankit had said, speaking to
SpotboyE.com last week.
According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Ankit’s grandmother met Pallavi Shukla
on a train from Kanpur to Delhi last year in October when she realised that
Pallavi is the perfect match for her grandson. Things moved at lightening speed
and within three months, their families fixed the wedding date.
According to the leading tabloid, the couple will get
engaged on February 20, then after the traditional haldi, sangeet and mehendi
ceremonies, Ankit and Pallavi will tie the knot in a typical North Indian shaadi
onFebruary 23 in Kanpur, followed by a reception on February 26. The
families will also host a reception in Mumbai once Ankit returns from his
Delhi, Chandigarh and Kolkata tours by the month-end.
