For some time now, rumours have been rife about Kratika Sengar returning to Kasam: Tere Pyaar Ki. Well, SpotboyE.com now has it that the actress has already started shooting for the TV show.
Kratika’s return to Kasam is an interesting story in itself. The show revolves around 2 lovers, Rishi (Ssharad Malhotra) and Tanushree (Kratika). The story witnesses its first major twist when Tanvi dies in an accident, leaving Rishi devastated. However, she reincarnates as Tanuja (played by newcomer Shivani Tomar) and, as fate would have it, bumps into Rishi again. 
Though the Tanuja-Rishi track has been going on for some time now, the ratings dipped, making the makers (Ekta Kapoor) feel that the audience were probably missing Kratika-Ssharad’s crackling chemistry. So, after much deliberation, it was decided to bring Kratika back in the show. But the trouble was, how to do it convincingly?
Well, a new twist was conceived: Tanuja (Shivani) will meet with an accident, which leaves her face disfigured. She’ll be advised plastic surgery and Voila! Post surgery, Tanuja will wake up with Kratika’s face!!
SpotboyE.com has got EXCLUSIVE pics of Kratika shooting for her re-entry scene. The shoot, mind you, was a hush-hush affair. The actress is shown is shown lying unconscious in the ICU. Here, take a look at some more pics: 
The only trouble is, while the facial transformation can be attributed to plastic surgery, how can the change in physique be explained? While Shivani is petite, Kratika is on the heavier side.
As expected, Shivani, we hear, is heartbroken about her sudden exit from the show. SpotboyE.com has already told you how, being a newcomer, she was having a tough time on the sets (Kasam’s new heroine Shivani gets anxiety attack before romantic scene with Ssharad Malhotra, Aug 13).
On the other hand, an excited Kratika told the media, “I had thought that my part in the story is over, but fans started a social media campaign saying that they were missing Ssharad and my chemistry.”
Ssharad added, “Shivani is doing very well, but yes, I do have a special camaraderie with Kratika since I have known her for years. So, I am happy that she is back.”
