Cyclone Nisarga has made landfall near Maharashtra’s Raigad district, this afternoon. The disastrous cyclone is marking its way towards North with the speed of 20 kmph with wind speeds ranging between 100-110 kmph, gusting to 120 kmph, said the India Meteorological Department. The cyclone is expected to be completed in the next three hours. While the centre of the cyclone is very close to Maharashtra coast, Bollywood celebs are continuously sending prayers for Mumbai and Mumbaikars.
After Priyanka Chopra, Akshay Kumar and many others, Kareena Kapoor has now sent her prayers for the city. Taking to her Insta story, Bebo urged everyone to stay safe. Her Insta story read, “Mumbai be safe. Let’s look out for each other. Stay home and follow the guidelines.” Other celebs who tweeted about the Cyclone Nisarga is Sidharth Malhotra.
The Student Of The Year actor tweeted, “Hey guys, #CycloneNisarga is heading towards Mumbai so please stay indoors, follow guidelines by @mybmc & stay safe. Also, provide shelter to the strays & help them during this time of need. Let's all help each other & get through this.”
