Veteran Punjabi singer Balwinder Safri, who was widely known for his folk music, left for his heavenly abode on Tuesday. The singer died at the age of 63. Reportedly, Balwinder since April was admitted to New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton, UK due to heart issues. The legendary singer underwent triple bypass surgeries but later went into a coma after facing brain damage. Balwinder Safri got discharged from the hospital nearly after spending 86 days but on July 26, he succumbed to his illness.
