Manjinder Sirsa, a member of the Shiromani Akali Dal didn’t take kindly to the video and alleged that they all seemed to be under the influence of drugs. Post that, film producer Pooja Shetty’s husband Milind Deora came out in their support and tweeted that his wife was right there and no such thing happened. However, Sirsa replying to Deora stated that if they are really innocent, then they should take a dope test and prove themselves.
Now, he has gone a step ahead and asked an FIR to be registered against the actors. He has written a letter to the Commissioner of Mumbai for the FIR registration. Here are the contents of the letter:
I have requested @CPMumbaiPolice to register FIR against the Bollywood Stars in the video flaunting their drug party...under The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985

“Respected Sir,
With due regards, it is submitted as follows:
That this is in reference to a party hosted by Karan Johar and attended by Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone, Malaika Arora, Arjun Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Vicky Kaushal among others (collectively referred to hereafter as actors or accused persons).
That a video is being circulated and shared in huge numbers on social media wherein the said party witnesses involvement of these stars wherein a powderlike substance was visible in the video and it was a "drug party" which indicates every likelihood that drugs have been brought, used and consumed in the said party. (The video is attached in form of a CD herewith for your ready reference)
That the present complaint is being filed seeking the registration of FIR for violations related to anti drug laws including offences under Indian Penal Code, Information Technology Act for making the said offensive video viral and specifically under The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
That it is unfortunate to mention herein that the actors who are seen in the video also include those who have played main protagonist in the movie (namely Udta Punjab) depicting youth as drug addicts and intending to defame the youth of Punjab whereas the actors are now themselves in a video showing the "Drug Party". The fact also indicates how those who are part and parcel of defaming the state of Punjab or the youth themselves are involved in such activities promoting drugs and its consumption.”
