Arjun Kapoor’s sister Anshula Kapoor recently launched her new charity venture, Fankind. This online fundraising platform is all set to bring celebrities and their fans together by allowing fans to experience fun activities with their favourite celebrity. The fun experiences would include the fans and celebs playing paintball, cricket and much more! All of this while supporting and raising funds for a charity. It is a first- of- its kind initiative and the new concept is sure to be received well.
Fankind has managed to rope in big stars like Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, and YouTuber Prajakta Koli aka Mostly Sane. That’s not all- this initiative will also see influencers from fashion and sports industry joining soon. The initiative has received a lot of hype already. Filmmaker Karan Johar took to Instagram and shared a clip of Anshula’s charity venture Fankind and congratulated Anshula on the amazing initiative. He captioned the post as, “Congratulations @anshulakapoor on this amazing initiative! It’s fandom with a purpose! A fundraising platform that curates awesome celebrity experiences for fans to help raise money for charities! For more details go to fankind.org@fankindofficial.”
It is definitely a great initiative as it not only allows fans to meet their favourite celebrities, but also contributes for a noble cause! 70% of the total earnings will be donated to charity. Even earlier, Arjun Kapoor took to Twitter and commented on his sister’s venture saying that he is very proud of her and that she continues to inspire him every day.
