Pooja Bhatt is known for her adventurous streak. And the actress-turned-filmmaker unleashed it again yesterday when she got herself a tattoo on her left forearm. That too by Mister Cartoon, no less!
The world renowned tattoo artist, who has Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Lewis Hamilton, Snoop Dogg and Eminem as clients and has even designed for Nike, Toyota and Eminem’s Shady Records, has come down to India.
Talking about her first tat by Mister Cartoon, Pooja told SpotboyE.com, “This is Mr.Cartoon’s first visit to India and I was the first person he tattooed on Indian soil. My brother Rahul will also get inked.”
The Paap director chose an elaborate design comprising an owl, a rose, a skull and a heart at the base.
Explaining her tattoo, Pooja said, “The skull is a ‘Sugar Skull’ – a symbol used in Mexican culture to commemorate the dead. I got that in honour of my grandmother, Shireen. The owl denotes wisdom, the rose represents new beginnings and the heart represents how ‘Love’ is the be all and end all of my existence.”
