The fans of Telugu star Naga Chaitanya, who is starring in Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor-led Laal Singh Chadha, are beyond excited. The actor recently completed the shoot for his Bollywood debut. He had earlier shared several behind-the-scenes pictures with Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and director Advait Chandan from the sets of the film - which goes to show how excited he himself is to be making his Hindi debut with Aamir Khan.

But Naga Chaitanya says the debut was not planned beforehand, adding nobody can "plan" a movie with Aamir Khan. In a recent interview with Deccan Chronicle, Chay, when asked if the decision to star in an Aamir Khan led film was a planned one, quipped, “I don’t think anyone can ever plan a film with Aamir Khan; it has to happen. He added that his upcoming Hindi debut was a project that happened very organically.

“I got a call from Aamir Khan. After discussing the initial modalities of the script, I went to Mumbai for final discussions and was quickly on board. It was like magic! Aamir said he’d watched some of my performances and trailers of my film and was very impressed and that he felt I’d be apt for the role,” said Naga Chaitanya.

He also shared his experience while working with Khan, and said that it was a pleasant experience. He mentioned that he was amazed by Aamir’s excitement and energy levels through the years of making the film.

“Even on the last day of the shooting, he’d be like how he was on the first day,” expressed Chay.

“Aamir is called a perfectionist for a reason. His attention to detail, his knowledge of various crafts and the versatility he brings to the table all make him a perfectionist.”

Aamir Khan and Naga Chaitanya reportedly bonded well on the sets of Laal Singh Chaddha, as they discussed the various genres of films in India today. Chay also highlighted that Aamir seemed interested to know about the latest happenings in Tollywood.

“He’s a music lover and wanted me to play my ANR and NTR’s old classics, apart from current film songs,” revealed the actor.

Laal Singh Chaddha is touted to be one of the most anticipated films in the last two years. Interestingly, it brings the much loved pairing of Aamir-Kareena back to the big screen post their blockbuster titled, 3 Idiots.
