She changed her social media profile name to 'S' and soon many started speculating that all is not well between her and Naga Chaitanya.
It was also reported that Samantha and Naga are not staying together and are also reportedly thinking of taking a break from their marriage. And now, in a recent interview with The Film Companion, Samantha was asked about the situation that made her drop her last name. Reacting to it, she smiled and said that she will only respond to gossips and rumours when she feels like. Like everyone else, she is entitled to her own opinion.
On the work front, Samantha was seen in The Family Man 2. She essayed the role of Raji and also faced severe criticism for her character. Many also loved her performance in the same. Talking to Indianexpress.com, Samantha said that she thought her role would either tank or would do wonders. "I have been put in this 'cute girl' slot. I thought this role would flop really badly or work really well. It completely hinged on the performance. It was very scary and risky for me. I never expected so many people to call and message me. I got calls from people who never called me before," she said.
