Manoj Bajpayee On Working With Samantha Akkineni: ' I Want To Be Overshadowed By My Co- Actors' - EXCLUSIVE
The Family Man Season 2 which was released on 4 June on Amazon Prime Video is created by Raj and DK. The thriller web series marks the OTT debut of Tollywood actor Samantha Akkineni.
The much-awaited second season of The Family Man started streaming on Amazon Prime Video on June 4, Friday. Created by Raj and DK, The Family Man season 2 features actors Manoj Bajpayee, Sharad Kelkar, Priyamani, and Sharib Hashmi reprising their roles from the first season, while south superstar Samantha Akkineni is been seen in a pivotal role.
The first season showcased the difficulties of Manoj Bajpayee’s character (Srikant Tiwari) who is juggling between professional and his personal life. The second season focuses on another hurdle that Srikant faces, his new nemesis named Raji, played by Samantha Akkineni. In an exclusive interview with SpotboyE, Manoj Bajpayee recently said that he is possessive about his co-actors. Ever since the series released the audience can't stop raving about the performance of Samantha aka Raji who is at loggers head with Manoj in the series. When asked the actor if the actor was ever worried about being overshadowed by Samantha he said, "I want to be overshadowed by my co-actors. I admire them, I really want them to do extremely well, I am saying not out of any modesty but that’s how I feel about my co-actors, I am very possessive about them. I only think good for them. I really wanted Samantha to make such an impact with her debut in the series and that too you know a series made by Raj DK and Suparn Verma. Praising his other co-stars from the series Manoj says, "I always wanted Sharib to do well and now with Season 2, he has become one of the most sought-after actors. Also Sunny Hinduja or Shreya Dhanwanthe, Shahab Ali, I want them to do very well. I am always concerned and always pushing and telling them the ways to go about it. And Now all of them are stars in their own right after season 2."
The Family Man’ was renewed for a second season and fans are showering love on the espionage thriller which is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
