SAY WHAT! Gully Boy Ranveer Singh Takes Off To New York To Rap It Up

A few days back it was reported that the shoot of Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt might get postponed. The lead cast was working on Padmavati and Raazi respectively, and they were not expected to finish their shoot commitments on time.

However, SpotboyE.com has learnt that Ranveer Singh flew off to New York a few hours back to start work on Gully Boy. He did not waste any time after wrapping work on Padmavati and took an early evening flight out for the Big Apple.

We had earlier told you that, rumours of Varun Dhawan stepping in to Ranveer Singh’s shoes for Gully Boy were baseless.

Ranveer has been able to squeeze in only a week’s time for Gully Boy because he’s expected to return to Mumbai soon and kick start Padmavati promotions.

Gully Boy is a coming-of-age film inspired by two real-life rappers from Mumbai’s chawls – Rapper Divine and Rapper Naezy. Ranveer Singh will play one of the rappers in the film.
