Cannes 2019: Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra Or Kangana Ranaut- Who Rocked It On Day 2?

The second outing for our Bollywood actresses at Cannes 2019 was rather underwhelming. Deepika Padukone kept the buzz alive with her 4 outdoor looks throughout the day, yesterday but her red carpet avatar, toppled the balance. Priyanka Chopra didn’t walk the red carpet but was spotted with hubby Nick Jonas for the Chopard dinner party. Kangana too was a part of this dinner but besides that she also made a red carpet appearance.

Let’s start with the lady who was all green yesterday at the red carpet- Deepika Padukone. Nice selection of colour but a disappointing overall look. The actress knew she is trying something out of the box, something she doesn’t experiment much with- her hairdo and she compensated for it with her poise and elegance! For her red carpet gimmicks and confidence level, I’d give Deepika a 10 on 10 but for the look with the Emily London rose headgear, I’d say it was a 7 on 10 look.

Priyanka Chopra made two appearances throughout the day- one was when she was spotted with Nick Jonas during the day wearing a teal kaftan with a broad white waist belt and a matching hat to go with and the other was at the Chopard dinner, where Priyanka wore lavender Fendi dress. While the lavender game didn’t impress me at all, I quite liked the chic kaftaan look. Overall, PeeCee was a 7 on 10 in her 2nd outing at Cannes.

Kangana Ranaut finally gave a breather by taking a safe route and not trying something extremely unconventional. For the red carpet, Kangana chose a structured gown by Michael Cinco and for the Choprad dinner, the actress underplayed in a contemporary white number by Toni Maticevski.

There was nothing wow about both her looks and since the first day at Cannes for the actress was pretty bad too, I’d say a 6 on 10 for Kangana. She was far better last year.
