Pan India star Prabhas’ official Facebook page fell prey to cybercrime on Thursday. The actor informed his fans about the ‘hacking of his account’ via his Instagram story on Thursday night. Now, the actor’s account has been restored. Prabhas confirmed the hack and wrote on Instagram Stories, "Hello everyone, my Facebook page has been compromised. Team is sorting this out."
On the professional front, Prabhas was last seen in Om Raut’s ‘Adipurush’ along with Kriti Sanon. However, he is still reeling from the failure of his last release which received intense criticism over its portrayal of Ramayana.
The film has been on the receiving end for its unsatisfactory acting, poor VFX, and cringe dialogues. Apart from that, a section of the audience have pointed out that the makers even sexualized the content of the much-anticipated film that narrates the epic mythological story of Ramayana, which had an alleged budget of around Rs 600 Crores.
However, the actor has several interesting projects in the pipeline and fans are hoping for good content. He will next be seen in KGF director Prashanth Neel's Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire. The film, also starring Shruti Haasan and Prithviraj Sukumaran, will release on September 28.
Recently, the first glimpse of the film was unveiled at the San Diego Comic-Con. The grand event marked a significant milestone as Kalki2989AD became the first-ever Indian film to participate in the prestigious international Comic-Con.
