Nag Ashwin’s highly anticipated Project K is inching closer to its release and the release of Deepika Padukone’s first look from the film has added to the excitement amongst fans. Apart from her, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani in the lead roles. 

On Monday, the makers of Project K surprised fans by unveiling the first look of Deepika Padukone from the film. In the recently released first look, DP can be seen as fierce with no make-up look and tousled hair. ALSO READ | SHOCKING! From the looks of it, fans were highly impressed with Deepika’s first look. However, some were highly disappointed with the latest development and they even ended up trolling the actress.

One user wrote, “Aadhar card ki photo daalke first look out bol rahe”. Another wrote, “Tatti as alwYs”. One was even confused about the fuss around Deepika’s look and asked, “Look kaha hai ? Bc” A fourth user worte, “Taken on mobile camera... Editing on picsart And last here.... It is project k first look 🤣🤣”

A few even compared Deepika’s first look from Project K with, Zendaya’s on-screen appearance in ‘Dune’.

A few users also pointed out, “Dune?”, “Dune in 144p 😂”, “Dune ki sasti copy 😭”.



Project K emerged as the first Indian film to share an unseen glimpse of the project at the San Diego Comic-Con on July 20. The San Diego Comic-Con's unofficial blog has also mentioned the film.

Interestingly, the producers of Prabhas and Deepika Padukone starrer are giving away 100 free tickets to the Project-K panel discussion. The multi-starrer is said to be one of the most expensive sci-fi projects from Indian cinema.

Previously, it was reported that South superstar Kamal Haasan has been approached by the makers to play a crucial role in the film. Reportedly, he is offered a whopping Rs  150 crore to play a villain in ‘Project K’. 

A source close to the development confirmed the reports around Kamal being approached with the antagonist’s role but there is no truth to the reports claiming that Rs 150 crore has been offered to the veteran actor.
