Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen’s relationship has once again grabbed eyeballs after the two performed the song ‘Pehla Pehla Pyar Hai’ at a family wedding amid divorce proceedings. However, this ultimately sparked the speculations of the couple’s patch up but, Charu in a recent interview has denied the same. Now, in a recent interview with Charu, the actor confirmed that she and Rajeev are getting divorced and are done with their mandatory counselling sessions.
The actress also addressed the reports about her dance with Rajeev at the family wedding and told ETimes, “We did it for Kaki (the groom’s mother). She asked me if I had any qualms about dancing with Rajeev and I said I had none.”
To everyone’s surprise, Rajeev had previously shared a few pictures from the family wedding which surprisingly featured Charu as well.
The actress also added that she wants her daughter Ziana to grow up in a positive environment. “Ziana is growing up and I don’t want Rajeev and my differences to make things awkward for her,” she said.
Rajeev on the other hand has also claimed that he and Charu are not getting back together and this apparently seems to be their final decision. The actor also claimed that the former couple are maintaining a cordial relationship for the sake of their daughter. For those unaware, Charu and Rajeev tied the knot in 2019, but shortly after they started having problems they spoke about it in the public. Last year, the couple was on the verge of separation but decided to give their marriage another shot until they decided to finally part ways.
