Kapil Sharma’s upcoming stand-up is one of the most anticipated events in OTT and the audience will witness some fun banter between the comedian and his wife – Ginni Chatrath, who often makes a rare appearance in public.
In a new promo video, Kapil informed that his father told him about the house and his sister’s marriage but he didn’t tell him whom to settle down with. He said, “I knew whom to settle down with. That was Ginni, my wife.” He then asks Ginni, who’s sitting in the audience, ‘What made you fall in love with a scooter owner?”
In no time, Ginni makes a sassy statement. She says, “Everyone falls in love with a rich guy. I thought of doing some charity for the poor guy.” The audience starts laughing, along with good friend Bharti Singh, who was sitting beside Ginni.
Meanwhile, in another instance, Kapil says that he would often practice in front of the mirror saying ‘I am not done yet’ – the title of his standup. He says, “Wife Ginni would throw pillows at me and scream ‘We had two babies in one and half years. What’s your plan?’”
The stand-up also features Kapil’s mom, his wife and his friends from The Kapil Sharma Show sitting in the audience. Rochelle Rao, Keith Sequeira, Sudesh Lehri can be seen enjoying the act thoroughly.
The special act of Kapil is going to give a glimpse of various moments from the comedian’s life.
The entire act will be released in January later and the audiences will get to see a refreshing and new side of Kapil Sharma, where he is not seen as a host of the show.
The comedian has courted controversies on several occasions. But his wit and humour are loved by all. He has been successfully hosting The Kapil Sharma Show for many years now.
