Jaya Ahsan to Play Lead Role in Bangladesh’s First 3D Film ‘Alatchakra’

Jaya Ahsan to Play Lead Role in Bangladesh’s First 3D Film ‘Alatchakra’
Good news for Jaya Ahsan fans as the beautiful actress will be playing a lead role in 3D film titled ‘Alatchakra’. The 1971 Liberation War feature film is based on Sofa’s renowned autobiographical novel by the same name. The entire film has been shot in 3D in partnership with Skywork Studios from Mumbai.

Directed by Habibur Rahman, it is Bangladesh’s first 3D film. Jaya will be essaying the role of Tayeba. Apart from Jaya, Bangladeshi actor Ahmed Rubel will be seen playing the lead character of Daniel (Ahmed Sofa).


Meanwhile, Jaya Ahsan and Ritwick Chakraborty’s first look from their upcoming film Binisutoy, directed by Atanu Ghosh look was released recently.

The poster has been trending on the social networking sites and fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the movie. In the first look photo, both Jaya and Ritwick are seen sitting in a rickshaw.


The movie is about two strangers and how they find peace in each other’s story.  Talking about the movie, director Atanu Ghosh said that in this film he has tried to do something different than his previous works. However, the date for its commercial release has not been decided.

Jaya Ahsan has done playback for the first time in this film and she will be seen singing a Rabindrasangeet -- Sukher Majhe Tomay Dekhechi.
