Dressing for a wedding can feel intimidating to most, Mimi Chakraborty, Raima Sen, Paoli Dam proved that they knew exactly what to wear. Actress Paoli Dam, who is busy in shooting of Saibal Bandyopadhyay and Leena Gangyopadhyay’s Sanjhbati, was spotted attending Nusrat Jahan’s Kolkata reception in a beautiful orange saree.

The actress accessorised with a pair of huge gold earring. She opted for a center partition, filled sindoor, low neck bun with gajra. And she was looking beautiful. She posted her picture and with couple on Instagram. “Decked up in a #TilfiBenarasi saree gifted by my mother-in-law for #thenjaffair reception last night!,” she captioned.

Actor-turned-politician Nusrat Jahan and husband Nikhil Jain hosted a wedding reception in Kolkata on Thursday. The reception was attended by the who's who of West Bengal. Nusrat Jahan got married tied the knot with businessman Nikhil Jain on June 19 in Turkey.


West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also attended the wedding and gave the couple blessing. 

Meanwhile, ‘Sanjhbati’ which features Dev, Soumitra Chatterjee, Paoli Dam and Arpita Chatterjee in the lead will showcase relationship from a completely different angle. Dev will play the character of a suburban young man who comes to the city and meets a young girl played by Paoli in unusual circumstances. However, Lily Chakraborty plays the main protagonist in the film. The veteran actress plays the role of an elderly woman who is in the center of the narrative.
