So, as we caught up with the duo for an exclusive chat, we asked them about these incessant rumours and asked them to spill the beans on their relationship status. Here’s what they had to say
There are enough speculations in the film industry around Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday’s relationship status. Since the duo began working on Pati Patni Aur Woh, rumour mills grew abuzz that they are dating. But, the two neither confirmed nor denied it.
Now, ahead of their film’s release Pati Patni Aur Woh (which hits the screens on Dec 6), we caught up with the young bunch and naturally were curious to know about their relationship status. With a smile on his face, Kartik in a tongue in cheek manner began by saying, “It’s too narrow.” I prodded further and asked them if they are close to which Kartik and Ananya admitted that they are close. Yet, not content by their replies, I straightaway posed the question if they are dating. Is it love? Taking a small pause, Kartik this time answered, “We are married to our work.” I reminded Kartik that he gave me a similar answer the last time, when I had met him for Luka Chuppi, to which he burst into peals of laughter. Ananya quickly joined in and stressing on his reply said, “We are married to our work only na.”
Well, they surely know how to play it smart here! Speaking of the film Pati Patni Aur Woh, it is directed by Mudassar Aziz, produced by T-Series, Renu Ravi Chopra and Juno Chopra. The film also stars Bhumi Pednekar who plays Kartik’s wife while Ananya is the Woh.
