In an EXCLUSIVE candid moment with SpotboyE.com last evening at Taj Land's End, we asked Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra about their respective relationship status on date. The Jabariya Jodi couple did not bat an eyelid. Sidharth said that he 'would announce with fanfare if and when he finds someone', while on the other hand Parineeti chose to say that she 'is single until she gets married'.
Sid and Pari were out to promote the upcoming film, produced by Ekta Kapoor and directed by Prashant Singh. Jabariya Jodi was set to release this Friday (Aug 2), but has been pushed to next week (Aug 9). Yesterday, Ekta's company Balaji Motion Pictures issued an official statement regarding the same. The film in question deals with the burning issue of groom kidnapping in India's Bihar. Sid and Pari have worked rather too hard in getting into their characters. Jabariya Jodi also marks the second collaboration between Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra after Hasee Toh Phasee (2013). Principal photography of the film began on 10 August 2018 in Lucknow.
The duo also spoke to us on a lot of other things, including how their bonding has increased after Haseee Toh Phasee. And yes, we did touch upon what's their take on the film having been postponed by a week. And of course there was lots more, which you will see shortly on this space.
The film's music is composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Vishal Mishra, Sachet-Parampara, Ramji Gulati and Ashok Mastie while the lyrics have been written by Raj Shekhar, Rashmi Virag, Shabbir Ahmed, Kumaar, Tanishk Bagchi and Sachet-Parampara. Joel Crasto has delivered the background score and Aftab Khan- Vatsal Chevli premixed it.
