The Tony D’Souza-directed Azhar has seen Rs 6.3 crore coming in on Day One.
Azhar is an all-important film for Emraan, who has had eight back-to-back flops in the last four years. The actor is hoping to bounce back with this biopic on the former Indian skipper.
Emraan can take solace from the fact that the film released on a slightly stronger note than his last release, Hamari Adhuri Kahani (Rs 5 crore).
