Housefull 4 has been one of the most-anticipated films of the year and the multi-starrer is winning hearts at the box-office this Diwali 2019. After mixed reviews from critics, the film still continues its dream run after collecting Rs 19.08 cr on Day 1. Over the holiday weekend, Housefull 4 set the box-office on fire collecting a total of Rs 87.78 crore till Day 4.
Directed by Farhad Samji, Housefull 4 stars Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Kharbandha, and Pooja Hegde in pivotal roles. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Instagram to share the Day 4 box-office collection of the film. He wrote, “#HouseFull4 sets the BO on Day 4 [Mon]... National holiday, expectedly, gave biz big push... Tue-Thu biz is extremely crucial for strong Week 1 total... Fri 19.08 cr, Sat 18.81 cr, Sun 15.33 cr, Mon 34.56 cr. Total: ₹ 87.78 cr. #India biz. #HF4.” As the film sets the Box-office collections on fire with a total collection of Rs 87.78 crore until Day 4, the national holiday on Monday after Diwali has proved beneficial for the film. With the upcoming week a crucial one, the fate of the film will be decided. Meanwhile, the film also stars Chunky Panday, Rana Dagubatti, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Johnny Lever. Housefull 4 is the fourth installment of the Housefull franchise and is based on the epic reincarnation comedy.
The film is produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Fox Star Studios and clashed at the Box-Office with Rajkummar Rao's ‘Made In China’ and Taapsee Pannu-Bhumi Pednekar's 'Saand Ki Aankh'.
