Kedarnath, Box-Office Day 2: Sara Ali Khan’s Debut Project Gathers Momentum
“I’m very nervous”, were Sara Ali Khan’s words when SpotboyE interviewed her, days before Kedarnath released on the big screen. Well, nervousness is a part and parcel of one’s life, especially when you’re stepping into the film industry, with sky-high expectations. For Sara Ali Khan, this movie is very important, not just because she marks her debut, but also because coming from film family, comparisons will be drawn.

But, the newbie utilized every ounce of the opportunity and presented a fine performance that deserves round of applause. She did an amazing job in the film, and has a terrific screen presence. SpotboyE.com rated the film 3 stars. We are sure that Amrita and Saif must be swelling with pride after seeing Kedarnath. For those who missed our review, we reproduce it below:

Pretty sure that both Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan were twiddling their thumbs in anticipation of a good result at the ticket windows. They need not worry because the movie has got off to a good start and held on to its second day.

Sara’s maiden debut that began with Rs 7.25 crore on the first day, gained momentum and did a business of Rs 9.75 crore on day two. The combined nett business is Rs 17 crore nett and the Saturday numbers prove that the movie is headed for a solid first weekend.
