Meeting Sara Ali Khan is a delight. Confidence is her other name. She comes across as a very well-brought up girl who knows what she wants in life, knows what is right and what is wrong, knows that happiness is peace, and values her parents and brother no end. I met her at Mehboob Studios where she was shooting for a song of Simmba, this afternoon. We settled down for a chat in her vanity van.
The conversation began from- her feelings since the past few hours, veered to how she decided to become an actress, how she coped up with her parents' separation, her idol Sridevi, and the constant comparisons in the media between Janhvi and her. The Nawab of Pataudi's daughter is sitting in a very envious position, her first splash Kedarnath is supposed to be an intense love story and according to Simmba's director Rohit Shetty, a perfect launch for her.
