Now, the makers have released the first chapter of the trailer and it takes us to Abhi’s (Ayushmann) first meeting with Bindu (Parineeti).
Titled ‘Samosa and Chutney’, the 2-minute clip kick-stars with a young Abhi looking down from his house’s window when a girl steps out of a green ambassador. Dressed in a frock with glares to match, Bindu, his new neighbour, seemed to be a diva in the making.
Abhi first meets her when he goes over to her house to deliver samosa and chutney as a welcome snack. The children hit it off and in Abhi’s words – he finds his best friend.
The evergreen song Aaiye Meharbaan, plays in the background and enhances the visual experience. The teaser ends with Ayushamann mouthing, “Zindagi ki chaal keh lo ya Newton ka law of gravitational attraction, par mujhe mera best friend mil gaya! Par Bindu, mujhe toh aaj bhi lagta hai uski nazar sirf hari chutney par thi.”
It wouldn’t be incorrect to say that the first chapter of Meri Pyaari Bindu’s trailer is an endearing beginning and it certainly makes us curious about what happens next.
In the film, Parineeti Chopra plays Bindu -- a singer while Ayushmann Khurrana plays the character of Abhimanyu Roy, a novelist who specializes in writing horror or may be erotic thriller stories. On the poster, Ayushmann is seen holding a novel whose title reads, 'Chudail Ki Choli'.
Let’s wait and watch to see what does Chapter 2 have in store for fans.
