WATCH: Zeenat Aman Makes A Comeback BUT With A Sleazy Web Series

Veteran actress Zeenat Aman, who was a big name in her era, has given her fans a not so pleasant surprise with her comeback. The trailer of Zeenat Aman’s digital debut released today and it’s not at all impressive...

If you have grown up watching Zeenat Aman’s hot sizzling numbers on screen, then this might just leave you a bit disappointed.

Veteran actor Zeenat Aman, who is 65, is coming back to entertain her fans through a web series titled- Love, Life and Screw Ups!!! The trailer of the web series released this morning. As we can see in the video (above), Zeenat Aman plays a spinster, Joana, who likes to mingle with the youth while dealing with her own messed-up life.

The web series comes across as extremely crass and Zeenat Aman is not in her best element. She looks like a misfit in a sleazy drama. For someone of her stature, we expected a little more class.

Kapil Kaustubh Sharma who directed the film- Dunno Y Na Jaane Kyun (2010), is directing the show. While talking to a leading daily about Zeenat Aman’s digital debut, he said, “We were looking for a glamorous actress with great comic timing and Zeenatji fit the bill perfectly. She is a diva who can connect with any generation. International shows are gaining popularity in India but we don’t have even one such show of our own; something cool and funny which the youth can connect with. Our story is a light-hearted take on eight friends and their relationship struggles.”

Apart from Zeenat Aman, the show also features popular names like Mita Vashisht, Yuvraaj Parashar, Sonali Raut, Dolly Thakore, Kapil Kaustubh Sharma, Diandre Soares, Sushant Divgikar, Akshay Sethi and new faces like Viboutee Sharma, Sezal Sharma, Shadab Khan, Shipra Kasana, Mahi Sharma, Ashish Khatri and Ashish Sachdeva.

Nikhil Kamath has composed the music and veteran composer Bappi Lahiri has sung a peppy number for the feel good romantic comedy about relationships.
