Did A Plan To Patch Up Salman Khan And Vivek Oberoi Go Bust In Sri Lanka?
Soon enough Vivek had reacted to Sonam’s comment and said that he has been working for women empowerment from the time when she was busy getting her make-over done. We had brought to you his reaction yesterday. However, in another interview, Vivek went a notch ahead and gave the actress a piece of mind.
Vivek Oberoi speaks on Sonam Kapoor's reaction to his tweet (on exit polls), "...Aap apni filmon mein thoda kam overact karein aur social media pe thoda kam overreact karein. I've been working in women empowerment for 10 yrs now. I don't think this is hurting anyone's sentiments" pic.twitter.com/pOWAwO29N6— ANI (@ANI) May 20, 2019
Vivek told ANI that Sonam should stop overreacting on social media and also asked her to do less overacting in films. “Aap apni filmon mein thoda kam overact karein aur social media pe thoda kam overreact karein. I've been working in women empowerment for 10 yrs now. I don't think this is hurting anyone's sentiments. Sometimes people do such things to look cool. I want to ask Sonam how much she has worked on women empowerment,” Vivek said.
When the actor was asked if he would apologies about the tweet, he said, “People are saying apologise, I have no problem in apologising, but tell me what wrong have I done? If I have done something wrong I will apologise. I don't think I have done anything wrong. What's wrong in it? Somebody tweeted a meme and I laughed at it.”
However, this morning, the actor finally took to social media and apologised for his tweet on Aishwarya’s past relationship with Salman Khan and him.
