"Karo Matdaan", Shah Rukh Khan Raps Aloud In A Music Video
Shah Rukh Khan believes in doing everything in complete style. Now, the actor has released a music video wherein we see him rapping and urging the audience to cast their vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The star may be slightly late in his endeavour, but he surely doesn’t disappoint.

It was just last month that PM Narendra Modi had appealed to SRK and several other actors including Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Karan Johar to help bring more voters’ turnout. The tweet read, "Urging Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar to creatively ensure high voter awareness and participation in the coming elections. Because...it's all about loving your democracy (and strengthening it)."

Now, a month later, SRK has fulfilled his wish and done his bit as a responsible citizen. In the video, we see King Khan taking to the mic and rapping aloud, urging one and all to cast a vote. He even flaunts his inked finger singing Karo Matdaan. Taking to his Twitter page, the superstar released the video and also apologised for the delay. He wrote, “PM sahib @narendramodi ne creativity ki liye bola tha. Main thoda late ho gaya video banane mein...aap mat hona Vote karne mein!!! ‘Voting is not only our Right, it is our Power.’  Please Use It. Thank u to @tanishkbagchi @abbyviral @parakramsinghr .”

The music is by Tanishk Bagchi whereas the lyrics are by Abby Viral. The video has been produced by SRK and Gauri Khan’s production house, Red Chillies Entertainment.
