#MeToo Accused Sajid Khan Finally Spotted, But Doesn't Want To Make Eye Contact!
Why the glares, Mr Sajid Khan at Raj Thackeray’s son, Amit’s wedding? Why now so coy? Do not wish to look into people’s eyes anymore?
MNS Chief Raj Thackeray’s son, Amit Thackeray’s wedding ceremony is currently underway at St Regis, Mumbai. A number of dignitaries from the political world as well celebrities have begun pouring in to attend the celebration. And just as the shutterbugs clicked guests at the red carpet, walked in Sajid Khan.
Yes, the director who is currently facing suspension by IFTDA (Indian Film & Television Directors' Association) was seen at the wedding venue minutes ago. Sajid came in dressed in kurta-pyjama and paired the outfit with a pair of sunnies. Why the sunglasses, Sajid? It’s perfectly dim inside. Or do you not want to make eye contact? Undoubtedly, he must have been distinctly uncomfortable. We wonder if we would get to see the director making public appearances often and if yes, we would love to see him without those glares.

Rewind. The director has been accused by sexual harassment in 3 separate accounts by actresses Saloni Chopra and Rachel White and journalist Karishma Upadhyay. The allegations had left sister Farah Khan and cousin, Farhan Akhtar ‘heartbroken’. Soon, Sajid stepped down as director of Housefull 4, an opportunity he had got with difficulty. In the following days, Priyanka Bose, Simran Puri and Bipasha Basu too came out with their stories elaborating on the director’s conduct.
The victims then complained to IFTDA and the association led by Ashoke Pandit heard Sajid’s side out. He denied the allegations, post which the complainants were called. Finally, it was decided that the director would be suspended for a year. We wonder who would sign him up first after his suspension ends.
