“Shilpa Shetty Is Pregnant,” Anurag Basu Texts Shamita

If you have Anurag Basu on your sets, beware! Reason? You can easily fall prey to his pranks. This time it was Shilpa Shetty, who was in a fix after the director pulled a prank on her on- the- sets of Super Dancer 2, which he judges along with the actress.

A source from the set told a daily, “During the break when Anurag got the opportunity to take away Shilpa’s phone, he texted her sister Shamita Shetty from her phone that she is pregnant. Shilpa started getting a number of calls from her sister and congratulatory texts on the news.”

Shilpa took some time to convince her sister that she was not pregnant and later realised that Anurag was the culprit. “She, however, laughed it off, as she is used to her Metro director’s pranks,” informed the source.

This is not the first time Anurag has pranked Shilpa. “Once he had removed the batteries from Shilpa’s mic without her knowledge and during the shoot, her voice couldn’t be heard. The shoot had to be stalled to get it fixed again,” added the source.

Recently, Shilpa Shetty was in the news for her views on children’s participation in the reality shows. “When a child is given the spotlight too soon, he/she grows up with the perception of being privileged. I don't want Viaan to feel that way try to inculcate values I grew up with because I don't want him (son Vivaan) to grow up with a misguided sense of entitlement."

Prior to this even Piku director Shoojit Sircar appealed to the TV authorities to put a ban on all the reality shows that involve children.

Coming back to Anurag Basu’s prank, we must say, dada is quite a brat!
