“Siddharth-Ishitta’s Wedding Mutually Called-Off,” Confirms Priyanka Chopra’s Mom, Madhu Chopra
There was a strong buzz since a few days that Priyanka Chopra’s brother, Siddharth Chopra’s wedding with Ishitta Kumar has been cancelled and not postponed due to her surgery. Now, mother Madhu Chopra has confirmed the same and said that the decision was mutual
Siddharth Chopra and Ishita Kumar’s wedding has been called-off is no buzz or rumour anymore as Priyanka Chopra’s mother, Madhu Chopra has confirmed the news. While talking to Pinkvilla.com, Siddharth’s mother said that the decision was mutual and that the wedding has been cancelled.
Siddharth Chopra and Ishitta Kumar were supposed to tie the knot last weekend. We were the first ones to tell you that the wedding reception of the couple is slated to take place on April 30 at Novotel, Juhu. However, suddenly the news of their wedding being postponed came out and the reason told was Ishita’s sudden surgery in Delhi. But gossip corridors were abuzz with whispers that something has gone wrong and that there will be no wedding now.

The whispers got louder when yesterday it was noted that Priyanka and Siddharth have unfollowed Ishitta and vice versa. Also, Ishitta’s cryptic post about “new beginnings” started converting doubts to confirmations. The lady had posted a picture of herself at a resto-bar, with a caption that read, “Cheers to new beginnings. With a goodbye kiss to beautiful endings” Commenting on their daughter’s post, Ishita’s mother, Nidhi Kumar advised, “Close old book and write new story,” while father said, “We are with you; Feel the expanse of the universe and be the star you were born to be.”
All this raised many eyebrows and before things got messier and more speculations cropped-up, finally, Madhu Chopra confirmed the disappointing news. This is the 2nd time Siddharth’s wedding has been called off. Back in Feb 2015, PeeCee’s brother was set to tie the knot with long time girlfriend, Kanika Mathur. However, eventually that didn’t happen.
