Lara Dutta heaps praises on Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu as she walks on the prestigious ramp for the last time
Miss Universe 2021, Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu made India proud as she walked the ramp of the prestigious stage and passed on her title to R'Bonney Gabriel from the United States Of America. The model looked ethereal as she rocked a stunning black gown that had Sushmita Sen and Lara Dutta’s face printed on the back of her dress. For the unversed, Sushimita won the title of Miss Universe in 1994 and Lara in 2000, Harnaaz brought the crown home in 2022.
Sharing pictures of her beautiful ensemble, She wrote, “It’s my purest honour and gratitude to represent my incredible country at Miss Universe. For my finale walk as Reigning Miss Universe, I couldn’t thank @officialsaishashinde and her team enough for making this dream gown come true! Reacting to her post, the actress wrote in the comment section, “May you always shine bright like the diamond you are!! Stay your humble, amazing , strong self sista!!! Here’s looking at you kid!!!!! Good luck for all that’s yet to come!” Fans also took to the comments section to shower her with love and adoration. They posted motivational messages and expressed how proud they are of her. Netizens shared how they are going to miss her reign as the Miss Universe. The pageant was held in New Orleans, Louisiana, in the US. During her walk, Sandhu got extremely emotional and couldn’t find enough words to express her gratitude. Even though she might have tripped, fans lauded her for continuing her graceful walk.
On the work front, the Miss Universe 2021 will be making her debut as an actress through the Punjabi film Bai Ji Kuttange. She had made the headlines for the same, when actress and producer Upasana Singh had filed a case against her for not promoting the movie and not honoring her commitments.
