Ekta Kapoor is famous for her stern and strong personality. She has been ruling the TV industry for quite some time and her serials’ actors look up to her.

But here’s someone who recently imitated Ekta Kapoor at an awards show and left her embarrassed.

Meet Ali Asgar, who mimicked Ekta at Colors’ ITAA.

We got our hands on this hilarious video where Ali Asgar donned Ekta Kapoor’s avatar and when he walked down (exactly like Ekta) even the TV queen could not resist laughing. 

At the end of the video, when Ekta is asked to react to Ali’s gig, she says, “Agar mere show mein hote toh replace kar deti (If you were on my show, I’d have replaced you.” 

Now, isn’t that a typical 'Ekta' reply?

The TV czarina and Ali go back a long way when the latter starred in Ekta’s popular show, Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki (2000). It’s because of this famous family drama that Ali Asgar became a household name. 

So, we’re sure that Ekta doesn’t mind a little mockery from her old teammate?

Talking about the award show, the 17th ITA was hosted by Ali Asgar and Manish Paul and had some super cool performances by Arjun Bijalani, Adaa Khan, Rashmi Desai, Shubhangi Atre, among other telly stars.

Coming back to Ali’s performance as Ekta, we think he was bang on in imitating the TV Queen.
